Young Workers Under 40 to Receive Up to 20,000 Won Monthly for Six Months

Sejong City Launches Program
to Ease Commuting Transportation Costs

Young Workers Under 40 to Receive Up to 20,000 Won Monthly for Six Months

Starting from August 1, Sejong City and the Job Economy Promotion Agency launched a transportation subsidy program to reduce the commuting burden for young workers.

This initiative is part of the Youth Hope Tomorrow Center operation project, aiming to alleviate commuting expenses for young employees and to encourage them to settle in the region and remain in their jobs for the long term.

The program targets young workers aged 19 to 39 who reside in the region and are employed at local small and medium-sized enterprises (including small business owners) or mid-sized companies. Applicants can receive up to 20,000 won per month for a maximum of six months to cover the cost of using the region’s representative transportation policy, the Ieung Pass. Retroactive applications for transportation costs incurred this year are also permitted. For more details, please contact the Sejong Youth Hope Tomorrow Center.
