Hyundai Motor announced on August 1 that it sold 334,794 vehicles worldwide in July 2025, marking a 0.5% increase compared to the same month of the previous year.
Of this total, 56,227 units were sold in the domestic market and 278,567 units were sold overseas. Compared to the same period last year, domestic sales increased by 0.4%, while overseas sales rose by 0.5%.
In the domestic market, sedan sales totaled 14,483 units, with 4,408 units of the Grandeur, 3,314 units of the Sonata, and 6,145 units of the Avante sold.
For recreational vehicles (RVs), a total of 23,258 units were sold, including 6,238 units of the Palisade, 4,252 units of the Santa Fe, 4,011 units of the Tucson, 2,592 units of the Kona, and 1,245 units of the Casper.
Sales of the Porter reached 4,296 units, while the Staria recorded 3,632 units. Medium and large buses and trucks accounted for a total of 2,204 units sold.
The luxury brand Genesis sold a total of 8,227 units, including 2,786 units of the G80, 2,157 units of the GV80, and 2,553 units of the GV70.
A Hyundai Motor representative stated, "We plan to continue expanding our market share by increasing the proportion of eco-friendly vehicle sales," and added, "To flexibly respond to customer demand, we will implement optimal sales strategies such as production optimization for high-demand models and product enhancements for key models."
