"We Must Rebuild People Power Party as a Youth-Oriented Party"
On August 1, Representative Joo Jinwoo, who is running for leadership of the People Power Party, stated, "We will transform into a youth-oriented party by introducing measures such as a youth quota system."
On this day, through social networking services (SNS), Representative Joo said, "Until now, youth representation has been limited to token gestures only during elections, but we must become a platform that thoroughly represents the interests of young people."

Specifically, he pledged to bring a large number of young party members, who have steadfastly supported the party in each city and province, to the central stage. He explained that by introducing a youth quota system in the fields of policy, organization, and publicity, the party will be able to represent the interests of young people.
He also announced plans to separate the position of Central Youth Committee Chair, which has been held concurrently by the Youth Supreme Council member. Representative Joo emphasized, "If someone who is well-acquainted with the circumstances of each city and provincial youth committee takes on the role of Central Youth Committee Chair, it will add vitality to the party."
Finally, he stated that the party will significantly increase the nomination of young candidates in local elections, but will prioritize party contribution. Representative Joo said, "We will respect young people who have devoted themselves to the party rather than focusing on their credentials," and added, "If we show that those who work hard are actively promoted, young people with political aspirations will come to the People Power Party first."
