Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jinseon) announced on August 1 that it held a "Meeting on Improvement Measures for Departments Involved in Expedited Permit Processing" to promote the ninth initiative of its "Top 10 Economic Priority Practices," which is "Expedited Permit Processing."

This meeting was organized by Yangpyeong County Governor Jeon Jinseon, who brought together the heads and staff members of 15 departments involved in permit-related civil complaints to facilitate communication and discuss measures for faster permit processing. During the meeting, the county shared cases and causes of permit processing delays and discussed solutions and improvement measures for expedited permit handling.

Governor Jeon Jinseon emphasized, "I ask that the heads of the relevant departments pay close attention to permit matters and make every effort to prevent any cases of delayed coordination. Considering that permit applicants invest significant time and money, please strictly adhere to the coordination period and approach discussions with a positive attitude to prevent any inconvenience to the applicants."

Yi Yunsil, head of the Permits Division, stated, "Based on the deeper understanding and cooperation gained among the departments involved in permit processing through today's meeting, we will provide faster permit services to applicants and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
