Yang Hyunsang, Public Relations Officer at Sejong City Office of Education, Receives Prime Minister's Commendation

In the first half of this year, seven exemplary public officials, including Yang Hyunsang from the Office of Communications, received the Prime Minister's Commendation. The Exemplary Public Official Commendation is a government award given to civil servants who demonstrate diligence and creativity in their duties and serve as role models for others. The award is conferred at the level of the Prime Minister's Commendation.

According to the Sejong City Office of Education on August 1, the recipients are as follows: Yang Hyunsang (Administrative Officer, Office of Communications), Kim Hyunjung (Administrative Officer, Audit Office), Myung Inho (Teacher, Jochiwon Sinbong Elementary School), Lim Jury (Teacher, Hansol Elementary School), and Kim Yonggyun (Teacher, Saetteum Elementary School), totaling five individuals. Two recipients were absent due to personal reasons.

On this day, Superintendent Choi personally presented the certificates of commendation, issued in the name of Lee Juhyo, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education who is acting as Prime Minister, to the recipients in a representative manner. Among the awardees, Yang Hyunsang, who has worked diligently for over two years in the Office of Communications with a strong sense of duty, expressed his thoughts on receiving the award, stating, "I accept this award on behalf of my colleagues and predecessors in the department and team, and I will continue to strive to be a role model for others."

Superintendent Choi stated, "Those who quietly fulfill their responsibilities and drive change in the field of education are the true heroes," and added, "I hope this award serves as both recognition of their efforts and a source of pride for the education community."
