Incheon Technopark (IncheonTP), which operates the Incheon City Job Cafe 'Jobs Incheon', will run a 'Life Career Design Program' to help middle-aged and older adults redesign their lives.
The program will be held online a total of 10 times starting from August 12, covering topics such as life planning, job exploration, employment and entrepreneurship strategies, financial planning, strengthening digital literacy, psychological recovery, and leisure management.
Any Incheon citizen can participate free of charge, and applications can be submitted 7 to 10 days prior to each session. Applications can be made on the 'Jobs Incheon' website.
An IncheonTP official stated, "In an era where average life expectancy is increasing and career changes are frequent, preparing for the second act of life is not a choice but a necessity for the middle-aged and older generation." The official added, "The program is designed to help participants plan not only their career and employment, but also their emotional well-being, finances, and leisure."
Meanwhile, 'Jobs Incheon' is a job communication space that opened in 2017 in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu (Rodeo Street Link 126), offering a variety of employment support programs. Any Incheon citizen can use the facility, and various employment support information is also available through the KakaoTalk Plus Friend 'Jobs Incheon'.
