KB Kookmin Bank Launches Non-Face-to-Face Inheritance Planning Experience Service

'My Inheritance Note'
From Scenario Planning to Tax Calculation and Financial Product Recommendations

KB Kookmin Bank has launched a non-face-to-face inheritance planning experience service called 'My Inheritance Note,' which allows users to directly experience the inheritance process.

Customers who wish to plan their inheritance can use the 'My Inheritance Note' menu within KB Star Banking to create their own inheritance scenarios. By entering information such as total assets, family composition, and desired distribution ratios, customers can view a 'customized plan.' They can also compare the inheritance amount they have planned with the 'statutory inheritance amount' and check the estimated inheritance tax.

'My Inheritance Note' can be shared with family members, helping to facilitate smooth communication and preparation for asset transfer within the family. For customers who find inheritance planning difficult, the service also provides easy-to-follow instructional videos and representative case studies.

This service also recommends financial products tailored to actual customer situations, such as substitute testamentary trusts, supporting customized asset management. Customers who subscribe to a substitute testamentary trust can receive one-on-one consultations with experts such as tax accountants, lawyers, and certified public accountants.

To commemorate the launch of this service, KB Kookmin Bank is holding an event for customers who experience inheritance planning until September 30. During the event period, customers who complete their inheritance planning using 'My Inheritance Note' will be entered into a drawing to receive a Starbucks coffee coupon (for 100 winners). In addition, all customers who subscribe to a substitute testamentary trust after completing their inheritance planning will receive a Shinsegae or Emart mobile gift certificate, with the amount depending on the subscription amount. Furthermore, three customers selected by lottery from among the subscribers will receive a 3.75g gold bar as an additional gift.

A representative from KB Kookmin Bank stated, "Inheritance is not simply a transfer of assets, but an important financial task that involves planning the family's future together," and added, "We will continue to expand convenient non-face-to-face financial services tailored to the changing financial environment and customer needs."
