Crit Ventures Invests 1 Billion KRW in Leading Autonomous Robot Company Neubility

Crit Ventures announced on August 1 that it has invested 1 billion KRW in Neubility, a company specializing in autonomous outdoor mobility robot solutions.

Neubility is a startup that has independently developed and commercialized the autonomous delivery robot "Neubie," the integrated robot management platform "NeubieGo," and the order app "NeubieOrder." The company provides Robot as a Service (RaaS) that encompasses hardware, software, and platforms.

In particular, Neubility is leading the market based on several factors: it has conducted the largest number of technology verifications (PoC) in the domestic outdoor mobility robot industry; it possesses proprietary software technology enabling low-cost urban navigation; and it has accumulated extensive experience in operational and service advancement through real-world demonstrations.

In practice, "Neubie" achieves stable autonomous driving in urban environments without using expensive sensors such as LiDAR or GINS (GPS Inertial Navigation System), instead relying on in-house developed cameras and other sensors. The robot can operate without the need for creating separate high-precision maps, reducing setup time to just three days?about one-tenth that of competitors?demonstrating clear advantages in cost and efficiency.

Currently, Neubility is operating official delivery services in partnership with Yogiyo. Demonstrations are also scheduled with several companies, including Barogo and Rakuten. Additionally, Neubility is expanding into the security sector by supplying patrol and security robots to Lotte Innovate. The company is also conducting demonstrations in various countries, including Saudi Arabia’s Neom City and the United States’ South Florida Security Group.

With this investment, Neubility plans to integrate its core technologies, such as camera-based autonomous driving modules, into various robot platforms?including quadruped robots?to develop "Neubility Sense," which will enable precise and safe navigation even in complex urban or hazardous environments. The company aims to expand this technology into a licensing business, providing integrated robot and solution services for patrol, security, firefighting, and more, thereby accelerating commercialization and market adoption. Neubility also plans to expand its services into global markets, including the Middle East, North America, and Japan, to establish a competitive presence overseas.

Lim Yongmook, Team Leader at Crit Ventures, stated, "Neubility is a leading player in the autonomous robot field, being utilized across various sectors such as delivery, security, and logistics. As there is no absolute leader in the global market yet, we expect Neubility to become a global frontrunner based on its unrivaled technology, vast data, and proven business model."
