Green Store Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Youngchang), a company specializing in health functional foods, announced that it has received the first-ever dual skin health functionality individual recognition in Korea from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for French premium wheat germ extract (Ceramosides™), specifically for ① skin moisturization and ② protection against UV-induced skin damage.
Ceramosides was jointly developed by Green Store and Cosmax NS, a health functional ingredient R&D subsidiary of the Cosmax Group. It is a premium functional ingredient produced by a French inner beauty specialist manufacturer, which extracts and purifies ceramide from wheat germ at a high concentration.
By successfully innovating ceramide, which had previously only been used as a cosmetic ingredient, into an edible form, the company has introduced an entirely new mechanism of action and efficiency to the inner beauty market, which had previously been centered on collagen.

Ceramosides is a premium ingredient in which ceramide is concentrated and refined from wheat germ using the high-purity extraction technology of a French inner beauty manufacturer. In an 8-week human clinical trial involving women aged 30 to 60, Ceramosides demonstrated dramatic skin improvement effects within just 14 days with a daily intake of only 30mg.
The clinical results showed that skin moisturization improved 16 times compared to the control group, and wrinkle reduction was more than fivefold. In addition, transepidermal water loss (TEWL) was significantly reduced, and overall improvements were observed in skin elasticity, firmness, and smoothness.
Notably, it achieved this efficiency with a minimum daily intake of 30mg, which is only one-tenth the amount required by other ingredients with the same functionality. Another differentiating factor is that the improvement speed, which previously took several months with conventional ingredients, was innovatively shortened to just 14 days.

The efficacy research on Ceramosides has been published in SCI(E)-level international journals, proving its scientific credibility.
