The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced on August 1 that it is continuing to provide emergency support, including lunchboxes, snacks, and relief equipment worth 100 million won, for firefighters dispatched to disaster areas such as Sancheong in South Gyeongsang Province and Gapyeong in Gyeonggi Province, which suffered severe damage from heavy rainfall.

This round of support was expanded not only to Sancheong, where the National Fire Mobilization Order was issued, but also to Gapyeong, which experienced both landslides and flooding. The focus was on strengthening the on-site response capabilities and helping the physical recovery of firefighters performing high-intensity tasks such as searching for missing persons, rescuing isolated individuals, and carrying out restoration work.

Over approximately two weeks, Hope Bridge provided support tailored to on-site needs, including 10,400 lunchboxes, 8,588 snacks such as cup noodles, beverages, and hamburgers, and 3,850 protective and hygiene items such as UV-blocking masks and life jackets. In some areas, coffee trucks were also operated.

This support is part of Hope Bridge's ongoing 'Emergency Support Program for Firefighters Responding to Disasters,' which delivers meals and supplies directly to the field in response to requests from the National Fire Agency and local fire stations whenever a disaster occurs. In particular, customized support based on actual demand was provided through close communication with field personnel, especially in the hardest-hit areas.

Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "As a partner in disaster response, we will fulfill our role as a private organization that quickly addresses the practical needs of the field," and added, "We will continue to strengthen our on-site, needs-based support system for firefighters together with our donors."
