Set Any Two Hours a Day for Unlimited Data
No Speed or Volume Limits
Only 990 Won Per Month Until Year-End During Promotion Period
KT announced on July 31 that it has launched a customized value-added service called "My Choice 2-Hour Data Free," which allows users to enjoy unlimited data for any two hours of their choice each day.
This service is characterized by allowing customers to freely use data without any speed or volume restrictions during the time period they personally select. It is specifically designed to provide tangible benefits to customers who use large amounts of data during commuting hours for services such as YouTube, OTT platforms, music streaming, and mobile games.
KT developed this product based on its own big data analysis, which showed that more than 20% of total daily mobile data usage occurs during commuting hours. In response, the company introduced a "time-based unlimited model" that enables users to consume as much data as needed during these high-traffic periods.
The service fee is 9,900 won per month; however, customers who subscribe by October 31 can take advantage of a promotion and pay only 990 won per month until December 31. Eligible customers include those subscribed to KT 5G plans (monthly fee between 37,000 won and less than 80,000 won) and Yogo plans (monthly fee between 30,000 won and less than 61,000 won). Outside the two hours set by the user, data usage will be deducted from their existing plan.
This promotion will automatically end on January 1, 2026, and service will be discontinued without any separate cancellation request, so there will be no additional charges.
