AI service platform company RYUTEN Technologies (hereafter RYUTEN) signed a strategic business partnership agreement with AI semiconductor company FuriosaAI on July 31 to strengthen AI capabilities across the nation.

RYUTEN and FuriosaAI Join Forces for Nationwide AI Adoption and Business Collaboration

The two companies agreed to cooperate with the following objectives: strengthening AI capabilities for all citizens, building high-performance and high-efficiency inference infrastructure, and promoting the practical adoption of AI technology.

RYUTEN surpassed 5 million monthly active users last year, distinguishing itself among domestic AI service platforms. FuriosaAI, leveraging its core technological expertise, is emerging as a strong alternative to Nvidia in the field of inference.

In particular, FuriosaAI recently secured a contract to supply its second-generation AI inference accelerator, RNGD (Renegade), to LG Exaone, accelerating its revenue growth. RYUTEN also completed a Series B funding round totaling 108 billion KRW in March. Both companies are currently among the most prominent AI enterprises in the AI infrastructure and service sectors, respectively.

Through this partnership, RYUTEN plans to accelerate its initiative of "One AI per Citizen," enhancing its service infrastructure to provide high-performance AI services to a large user base in a more stable environment. FuriosaAI will contribute to building a competitive inference infrastructure by demonstrating the performance, efficiency, and versatility of Renegade within RYUTEN's service environment. The two companies have agreed to maintain a strategic partnership and continuously explore new business opportunities to create mutual synergy.

Baek Junho, CEO of FuriosaAI, stated, "We expect that this collaboration will further accelerate the establishment of national-level AI full-stack competitiveness, enabling the efficient delivery of large-scale AI services."

Lee Seyoung, CEO of RYUTEN, said, "Helping all citizens use AI more easily and conveniently has been RYUTEN's longstanding goal since its founding. To achieve this, we will continue to collaborate with AI companies across various fields, expand the ecosystem, and contribute to strengthening the nation's AI competitiveness."
