This committee meeting was organized as part of sustainable ESG management activities to reduce corporate management costs and to encourage all employees to participate in energy saving efforts.
Gyeongbuk TP is performing the role of an energy saving control tower through the "Energy Saving Promotion Committee," setting and monitoring energy reduction targets for each department and checking the implementation status.
In particular, the organization is focusing on establishing effective mid- and long-term energy saving measures to reduce the burden of increasing corporate management costs caused by the annual rise in energy supply prices.
This meeting included a multi-faceted discussion, such as: ▲ analysis of energy usage over the past three years ▲ sharing of budget status impacted by rising energy supply prices and building aging ▲ discussion of rational energy use strategies for the summer season.
Additionally, the organization encouraged all employees to actively participate in energy saving by: ▲ designating energy guardians for each department ▲ developing practical energy reduction plans and promoting company-wide involvement.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, "By holding the Energy Saving Promotion Committee, we are guiding participation in energy saving through establishing and evaluating energy saving plans, analyzing implementation results, and awarding outstanding departments in energy saving. We will continue to make efforts to save energy through the active participation of all employees, such as maintaining appropriate office cooling temperatures (26~28°C)."
