Andong Steps Up as a Summer Tourism City
'2025 Andong Su(Pae) Star', hosted by Andong City in North Gyeongsang Province, is transforming into a stay-type summer festival with an enhanced lineup of nighttime programs.

This year's festival is being held along the Nakdong River in front of Seonghui Girls' High School in Jeongha-dong, and is attracting visitors with a variety of programs that allow them to enjoy the romance of summer nights in the city center.
This year's Su(Pae) Star has significantly expanded its signature nighttime content, including 'Nakdong Pocha', where visitors can enjoy riverside night views and light snacks together; 'Nakdong Camping Zone', an urban camping site for families and friends; and 'Andong Summer Night', an outdoor concert featuring major artists.
In particular, Nakdong Pocha creates an analog atmosphere using food stall-style booths, art shade structures, and 1980s-inspired lighting. Visitors can enjoy simple snacks against the backdrop of the riverside night view and relax on a summer evening.
'Nakdong Camping Zone', designed for camping enthusiasts, operates on a reservation basis and is open to both camper vans and general campers. The camping site fee is 10,000 won, but it can be used free of charge by presenting a receipt for purchases made within Andong City. Camping equipment is also available for rent on-site for a fee, making it easy for tourists without their own gear to participate.
The main program, 'Andong Summer Night', is drawing attention as a stage that combines performances by major singers with water activities. This weekend, popular artists such as Zion.T and Haha & Skull are scheduled to perform, heating up the festival atmosphere.
Andong City stated, "We have prepared a festival where both citizens and tourists can enjoy a special summer night by strengthening our nighttime stay-type content," and added, "We will continue to make various efforts so that Andong can establish itself as a leading nighttime tourism city during the summer season."
