9 Out of 10 People Apply for the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon
Just 11 Days After Applications Open
It has been reported that 90% of the public completed their applications for the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon just 11 days after the application process began.
According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on July 31, as of 1:00 p.m. that day, 45,546,552 people, accounting for 90.0% of those eligible for the consumption coupon, had completed their applications. This marks the 11th day since the application process started on July 21.
The most preferred issuance method among applicants was credit or debit card, chosen by 32,461,194 people. This was followed by mobile or card-type local gift certificates, selected by 7,190,378 people; prepaid cards, chosen by 5,001,785 people; and paper-type local gift certificates, selected by 893,195 people.
The total amount distributed to applicants for the consumption coupon so far is 8.2371 trillion won.
The region with the highest application rate was Incheon at 92.17%. The region with the lowest rate was Jeonnam at 87.73%.
