EV Advanced Materials announced on July 31 that ProLogium Technology, a Taiwanese all-solid-state battery company in which it has invested, has unveiled an ultra-fluidized inorganic solid electrolyte, ushering in the era of next-generation all-solid-state lithium battery commercialization.
According to the company, this electrolyte technology combines the high ion concentration of solid materials with the excellent interfacial contact characteristics of liquids, overcoming three major bottlenecks of existing all-solid-state batteries: ion conductivity, interfacial stability, and manufacturing efficiency.
A ProLogium representative stated, "Based on this technology, we plan to actively expand into the all-solid-state battery market through technology licensing, strategic alliances, and regional manufacturing cooperation models." The representative added, "With our proprietary technology portfolio consisting of more than 1,000 patents, we will provide systems that can be integrated from industrial modules to application products, setting a new standard for the global battery industry."
Meanwhile, EV Advanced Materials is the largest shareholder of Dynamic Design and SC Engineering.
