This inspection was organized to check the safety facilities of water recreation areas in advance and to verify the on-site safety management system, as a large number of vacationers are expected to visit during the peak summer holiday season.

The inspection sites were selected from among the major water recreation management areas in Yeoncheon County, including the Imjingang and Hantangang river areas, with four locations such as Biryong Bridge designated as targets.

Chairperson Kim Mikyung stated, "I deeply appreciate the dedication of the Citizen Water Rescue Team members who are working to prevent safety accidents even in the hot weather," and added, "The Yeoncheon County Council will continue to pay close attention and make every effort so that residents can safely enjoy water activities in the future."
