Pocheon Hantangang World Drone Festival and World Food Culture Festival Now Accepting Food Booth Applications

Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on July 31 that it is accepting applications from businesses wishing to participate in the food booth section of the "World Food Culture Festival," which will be held alongside the "Pocheon Hantangang World Drone Festival" from October 9 to 12.

The application period runs until August 14, and a total of 30 food booths will be selected. Applications can be submitted via Naver Form, email, or by visiting Pocheon City Hall in person. Results will be individually notified during August. There is no participation fee.

Selected businesses must operate their food booths in person during the festival. Each booth may offer up to three menu items, which must represent either international cuisine or dishes representative of Pocheon. The price of each menu item must not exceed 10,000 won, and at least one item must be priced at 8,000 won or less.

Participants will be evaluated and selected based on menu theme, food quality, contribution to the local community, and whether the business is located within the city. Priority will be given to local businesses; if there are not enough applicants, businesses from outside the city will be considered. In cases where the same menu is submitted by multiple applicants, the business with the highest evaluation score will be selected.

A Pocheon City official stated, "This will be a special festival where visitors can enjoy the tastes and cultures of countries from around the world in one place," and added, "We hope that many food booths will participate to make the festival even more vibrant."
