Kkumssi Theme Train Operates to Boost Daejeon 0si Festival

"Kkumssi Theme Train Boarding Certification Event" to Be Held

A special train designed to strengthen Daejeon's city brand image will be in operation.

From August 1 to August 16, Daejeon Transportation Corporation will hold the "Kkumssi Theme Train Boarding Certification Event" to enhance the atmosphere of the "Daejeon 0si Festival" and share the joy of urban railway travel.

The "Kkumssi Theme Train" is a special train decorated with the concept of Daejeon's mascot "Kkumssi Family" introducing summer nightscape attractions and travel destinations around the city's subway stations.

Participating in the event is simple. Passengers can immediately join by scanning the QR code on posters inside subway stations or on the banner on the Daejeon Transportation Corporation website. Winners will be selected by lottery and receive a mobile ice cream voucher.

Meanwhile, during the 0si Festival, Daejeon Transportation Corporation will ensure thorough air conditioning on trains and extend subway operations until 1 a.m. In addition, safety and crowd control measures will be implemented at major stations such as Daejeon Station, Jungangno Station, and Junggucheong Station, where large numbers of citizens and tourists are expected to gather, to support safe and comfortable travel for all passengers.
