Significantly Improved Accessibility Between Gijang and Gimhae Airport
Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced that, starting from July 31, the 'Gimhae Airport Limousine Bus' connecting Gijang County and Gimhae Airport will officially begin operations.
This new route is a result of the 'Southeast Region Megacity Airport Bus Route Initiative,' a key transportation pledge of the 8th popularly elected administration. It is expected to significantly improve convenience for county residents using the airport.
The Gimhae Airport Limousine Bus operates on two routes: Airport Limousine 1 (Haeundae·Gijang) and Airport Limousine 2 (Seomyeon·Bujeon). Among these, the route connecting Gijang County is 'Airport Limousine 1.'
The 'Airport Limousine 1' route departs from Banyan Tree Haeundae Busan, located in Gijang-eup, and travels through Dongam back gate (Ananti), Jangsan Station, Haeundae Beach, and then to Gimhae Airport via Gwangan Bridge. The first bus departs from Gijang at 4:50 a.m., and the fare for adults is 9,500 won.
Tickets can be reserved through the intercity bus app 'BUSTAGO,' and route searches and real-time arrival information are available via map apps such as KakaoMap.
Governor Jung Jongbok stated, "The launch of the Gimhae Airport Limousine Bus service is highly significant for fulfilling our pledges," and added, "We will continue to expand metropolitan transportation infrastructure to enhance convenience for our residents."
