Jin Air announced on July 31 that it has strengthened flight safety and efficiency by introducing a new integrated operations control system, the 'OCC Portal (Operations Control Center Portal)'.
With the implementation of this system, Jin Air has enhanced its role as a core 'control tower' that plans and manages all flights in real time and responds immediately to emergency situations.
The newly established OCC Portal is designed to perform key operations control functions on a single integrated screen. Operations control personnel can use this system to oversee and manage all necessary flight information at a glance, including flight planning and monitoring, real-time weather information analysis, flight routes, operational procedures and guidelines, various regulations and data, and responses to irregular operations.
The OCC Portal is expected to maximize operational efficiency by providing necessary information quickly and intuitively to support immediate decision-making and by streamlining work processes. In addition, it offers customized information provision and search functions for each staff member, further enhancing user convenience.
Furthermore, the OCC Portal, which has been completed through function analysis and structural design, function development, testing, and stabilization, will also serve as an independent system foundation to support the future integrated LCC operations among Jin Air, Air Busan, and Air Seoul.
A Jin Air representative stated, "With the establishment of the OCC Portal system, we will further solidify our flight safety capabilities," adding, "Based on this, we will provide our customers with seamless safety and unwavering trust."
