First, Mayor Lee stated, "Since there are many cultural and sports events with citizen participation during the summer, I ask each department to take various measures so that citizens can forget the heat and enjoy the events safely."

Mayor Lee continued, "During the heatwave period, please pay close attention to prevent any harm to citizens by operating water-spraying vehicles, checking on vulnerable groups, and inspecting cooling shelters. In particular, please pay special attention to workers and the elderly who work outdoors."

Mayor Lee also shared, "We were invited to present an exemplary case at the 15th Ramsar Convention of the Parties and introduced the Janghang Wetland to the international community. Through Janghang Wetland, which is being recognized as a leading model for urban wetland conservation, Goyang City will become a hub for international ecological diplomacy," expressing his thoughts on the recent overseas business trip.

Additionally, Mayor Lee said, "With the business agreement with Coupang Play on July 23, we have added new growth engines for the content industry to Goyang City's outstanding infrastructure. Going forward, in order for Goyang City to become a global hub for Hallyu content and performances and to leap forward as the 'Broadway of Korea,' active cooperation and administrative support are needed, from attracting performances to supporting K-content production."

In particular, after receiving a report on the environmental impact assessment for the Daegok Station Knowledge Convergence Complex, Mayor Lee emphasized, "Goyang City must proactively develop business directions and plans that reflect our municipal philosophy and deliver them to the national government and LH. From the early stages of establishing development plans, we must conduct preemptive and multifaceted reviews regarding future operation and utilization."

Mayor Lee also stated, "For knowledge industry centers, please ensure that the permitting department pays attention so that the floor height is increased to allow for equipment entry and to enhance office usability. The design should accommodate a variety of companies, from small businesses using small units to those occupying entire 2-3 floors."

Meanwhile, at the executive meeting, encouragement was given for various awards. Mayor Lee congratulated the departments that received the Grand Prize at the 2025 Manifesto Competition and the Grand Prize in the YouTube category at the 7th Korea Internet Innovation Social i-Award, saying, "These awards are the result of prioritizing the happiness of Goyang citizens and building a consensus with them. Please continue to strive for open governance together with citizens."
