More than 30 students from Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Metaverse Convergence, Zhejiang Media College, Ningbo University of Finance and Economics, and Northeast Normal University participated in the program. The program was co-organized by the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science at Chung-Ang University and the AI-Content Future Industry Education Research Group, and hosted by the Graduate School of Metaverse Convergence.

Through this program, Chung-Ang University introduced an innovative curriculum that integrates AI and metaverse technologies into traditional film production education. The program consisted of a total of 22 courses, offering an arts and engineering convergence education reflecting the latest technological trends. Professors from the Graduate School of Metaverse Convergence delivered theoretical lectures on advanced engineering technologies such as the metaverse, immersive media (VR, XR), and AI technologies. They also organically connected these lectures with practical training in generative AI-based arts (film, animation, media art) and AI content production.

Participants included Professor Park Jinwan, who served as a technical advisor for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics; Professor Kim Kyuhyun, who participated in Hollywood blockbusters such as "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" at Sony Pictures Imageworks; Professor Han Sangim, a media artist active in the United States and Europe; and Professors Choi Jeongin and Cho Heeyoung, both former film producers.

Top industry professionals also took part in the program, including Supervisor Jung Hwangsoo, who was responsible for the VFX in films such as "Train to Busan"; Director Kwon Hansle, who directed the Dubai AI Film Festival Grand Prize winner "One More Pumpkin"; Music Director Lim Minjoo from YG Entertainment; Team Leader Lee Sangwook from MBC C&I; and AI creator Director Lee Youngwoon.

On the final day, participating students presented the AI content they created during the workshop and attended a completion ceremony, marking the end of the program. Chinese students who participated shared their impressions, stating, "We were deeply impressed by Korea's advanced AI content technology and the high-level educational system of Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science."

Baek Junki, the principal investigator (professor) at the Graduate School of Metaverse Convergence, said, "This short-term educational program will serve as a strategic foundation for long-term joint research and the expansion of global education," adding, "We will continue to enhance joint education and strive to encourage participation from students in various countries."

Lee Changjae, Dean of the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, emphasized, "Chung-Ang University is establishing itself as a global hub for next-generation film education, leading in AI and metaverse technologies," and added, "We are presenting a new paradigm for global film education by combining Hollywood-level practical training with cutting-edge technology research."
