ImarketKorea, a specialized company operating the total electric vehicle charging solution IMKEV (CEO Kim Hakjae), and Safe Space (CEO Shin Youngcheol), which aims for zero electric vehicle fires, announced on the 30th that they have signed a strategic business partnership for an electric vehicle fire prevention monitoring system.
Through this partnership, the two companies will collaborate to combine the smart monitoring system for electric vehicle chargers with electric vehicle fire prevention solutions, aiming to establish a safe and efficient environment for the early detection and prevention of electric vehicle fires.
ImarketKorea's 'IMKEV' provides a total charging solution, including the construction and operation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure as well as maintenance and smart monitoring, in various spaces such as apartment complexes, industrial complexes, and buildings.
Safe Space's 'SAFE PASS' is a solution based on an LTE-OBD (On-Board Diagnosis) device dedicated to electric vehicles, which enables 24-hour real-time monitoring of electric vehicle battery status, early detection of abnormal signs, and prediction and response to fire risks in advance.
The two companies expect that this collaboration will contribute to the advancement of smart safety monitoring systems and the prevention of electric vehicle fires in a variety of spaces, including apartment complexes, industrial facilities, public institutions, and parking facilities.
Im Jinwoo, Executive Director of New Business at ImarketKorea, stated, "Through this business partnership, we are now able to detect electric vehicle fire risks in advance and respond quickly," adding, "Our collaboration with Safe Space is especially meaningful as it enables us to build electric vehicle fire prevention safety networks in even more spaces."
