This program was designed to allow children, who are the future generation, and their parents to learn and experience drones together, which are a core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The aim is to enhance communication within families and provide children with opportunities to explore future career paths.

Beginning with the first session on July 29, this course will be held a total of four times until August 12, with 40 students and parents from Ganap Elementary School participating. The participating families attended theoretical lessons on the basic principles and safety rules of drones, followed by hands-on practice sessions where they became familiar with drones through virtual piloting using simulators and actual drone flight exercises.

In particular, this program was designed as an experience-based course where children and parents form teams, support each other, and practice drone takeoff, landing, and hovering together. This approach received an enthusiastic response from participants.

Since its opening in January, the Yangju Dronebot Talent Education Center has successfully operated customized drone education programs for various groups, including Gyeonggi Shared School, special lectures for military personnel, and field trips for middle and high school students. The launch of this family-oriented program is seen as a meaningful effort to expand the reach of education to all citizens.

An official from Yangju City stated, "We hope this experience will become a precious memory for parents and children, and serve as an opportunity for children to nurture their dreams about future technologies. We will continue to develop various programs so that all citizens can easily access and learn drone technology, and strive to establish the Dronebot Talent Education Center as a technology and culture space shared with citizens."

Meanwhile, Yangju City plans to further solidify its status as a "leading drone city in northern Gyeonggi" by leveraging the benefits of the designated Drone Special Free Zone, fostering the drone industry, and continuously investing in nurturing future talent centered around the Dronebot Talent Education Center.
