Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyeon) released messages of support from its honorary ambassadors on July 29 to comfort and encourage citizens affected by the recent heavy rainfall.

The video features five honorary ambassadors, including singer Lee Byeongchan, comedians Jung Myeonghun and Kim Minhee, actor Park Hyojun, and YouTuber Yoon Taeyong, who expressed their heartfelt sympathy to Pocheon citizens struggling due to the torrential rain.
In their self-recorded video messages, the ambassadors conveyed their concern and regret to citizens enduring difficult times caused by the sudden flood damage, and wished for a swift return to daily life. At the end of the video, they delivered a powerful message of encouragement, shouting, "Pocheon citizens, fighting!" to inspire hope and courage among the community.
A Pocheon City official stated, "We hope the ambassadors' messages of support will bring comfort and strength to our citizens," and added, "We also express our deep gratitude to those volunteering at recovery sites despite the hot weather."
Meanwhile, the support video can be viewed on the official YouTube channel and social media accounts of Pocheon City Hall. The city plans to continue active communication with citizens together with its honorary ambassadors.
