This training was organized to help civil servants efficiently utilize AI in administrative tasks, in line with the rapid spread of generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT in the era of digital transformation.
The training was held at the Paju Stadium computer training center for 125 employees in grades 6 and 7. It was designed as a hands-on program, allowing public officials to directly experience various AI tools and immediately apply them to their work.
The curriculum included understanding digital transformation and generative AI trends, utilizing the ChatGPT interface and prompts, and automating the creation of reports and proposals, all optimized for administrative tasks. In addition, various AI tools such as Gamma, ChatPDF, and AskUP were introduced.
Employees who participated in the training gave positive feedback, stating, "The prompt writing methods and report automation features were very useful," "I was impressed by the in-depth report and PowerPoint (PPT) creation using ChatGPT," and "I hope intermediate and advanced courses will be offered." The overall satisfaction score for the training averaged 4.8 out of 5.
Based on the success of this training, Paju City plans to conduct a second round of training for an additional 125 participants in October, and is also preparing a large-scale AI special lecture for 400 public officials.
Furthermore, the city plans to provide 250 employees with accounts for AI services such as ChatGPT, supporting the continued use of generative AI tools in real work environments.
