Hyundai E&C Launches First Hillstate in Howon-dong, Uijeongbu: "Hoeryong Station Parkview" Official Contracts Start August 9

Rare New Apartments in the Area
60% of Interim Payment Interest-Free

Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on July 30 that the official contract signing for "Hillstate Hoeryong Station Parkview," a new residential complex in Howon-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, will take place from August 9 to 11. The complex will consist of 12 buildings with 1,816 units, ranging from three basement levels to 33 floors above ground. Of these, a total of 674 units with exclusive areas of 59㎡ and 84㎡ will be available for general sale.

The 59㎡ units are divided into three types?A, B, and C?with 202 units in total. The 84㎡ units also come in three types?A, B, and C?with 472 units allocated. As the entire offering mainly consists of small to medium-sized units, there is strong interest from real homebuyers. The contract deposit has been set at 5% of the general sale price, which is about half the usual amount, and the first installment is fixed at 5 million won, reducing the initial financial burden. In addition, buyers will benefit from a 60% interest-free loan on the interim payment.

The complex is located just over 3 kilometers in a straight line from Dobongsan Station in Seoul. Residents can walk to Hoeryong Station, which serves as an interchange between Seoul Subway Line 1 and the Uijeongbu Light Rail Transit, allowing access to major business districts in Seoul within about 40 minutes. For those traveling by car, the complex also boasts excellent access to major highways such as the Seoul Metropolitan Area First Ring Expressway and the Dongbu Expressway.

The transportation environment is expected to improve further. Uijeongbu Station, just one stop away from the complex, is scheduled to become a stop on the GTX-C (Great Train Express) line, which is set to open in 2028. Once operational, it will take approximately 20 minutes to reach Samseong Station. The pace of the project has accelerated since the new government announced in June that it would fast-track construction. The Dongbu Expressway underground project is also underway, with the Wolleung IC?Cheongdam and Daechi-dong section scheduled for completion in 2034. Once construction is finished, the Wolgye IC?Yangju Expressway (scheduled to open in 2030) will also pass through Howon-dong.

"Hillstate Hoeryong Station Parkview" is Hyundai Engineering & Construction's first branded apartment complex in Howon-dong. Although Howon-dong is located close to Seoul, there has been little new supply, resulting in high demand from potential buyers. According to Real Estate R114, over 90% of apartments in Howon-dong are more than 20 years old, and if those over 15 years old are included, the figure rises to 97%. There are no new complexes scheduled for supply in the next five years.

The area also boasts a strong educational environment. Nearby are Howon Elementary and Middle Schools, Hoeryong Elementary and Middle Schools, and Howon High School. There is also good access to public daycare centers and the academy district in Nowon, Seoul. Hyundai Engineering & Construction has signed a business agreement with Avalon Education, a company with 26 years of experience, to provide English education programs and tuition discounts.

All Units Face South; Enhanced Landscaping, Storage, and Community Facilities

All general sale units are oriented primarily to the south, maximizing natural light and ventilation. The layout also incorporates a corridor axis design to ensure wind flow and open views. Within the complex, a variety of landscaped areas will be created, including a healing garden, picnic garden, and central plaza.

Floor plans are divided into two main types to reflect buyer preferences: the four-bay flat type (59㎡A and 84㎡A) and the tower type. All units come standard with a dressing room, and the 84㎡ units feature enhanced pantry spaces depending on the type. Large-scale community facilities will include a fitness center, golf practice range, sauna, kids' room, and study room. A guesthouse will also be available for entertaining visitors.

The "H Silent Home System I" will be installed to reduce noise between floors. Other specialized features from Hyundai Engineering & Construction's "H Series" will also be included, such as the "H Autozone" for dry car washing and "H Withpet," a dedicated space for pets. The "My Hills" smartphone app will allow residents to control lighting and heating, check parking locations, and reserve community facilities. The "Car to Home" service will enable control of built-in home devices directly from the car.

"Hillstate" is Hyundai Engineering & Construction’s flagship residential brand, having ranked first in the Premium Brand Index for apartment complexes from 2023 to 2025 and first in Brandstock’s Brand Star ranking for four consecutive years. According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, Hillstate has maintained the top spot in the apartment sector for 76 consecutive months from April 2019 to July 2025.

The model home for "Hillstate Hoeryong Station Parkview" will be located in the Howon-dong area of Uijeongbu, with move-in scheduled for April 2026.
