Coupang Awards Soccer Match Tickets to Delivery Companies with High Vacation Usage

Awarded to Top Contracted Delivery Companies for Highest Vacation Utilization in the First Half of the Year

Coupang's delivery subsidiary, Coupang Logistics Service (CLS), announced on July 30 that it awarded free invitation tickets to the '2025 Coupang Play Series' football matches to top-performing contracted delivery companies whose drivers had the highest rates of vacation use and biweekly five-day work schedules during the first half of this year.

The free invitation tickets were given to contracted delivery companies with high rates of vacation use and biweekly five-day work schedules in the first half of the year. These companies then distributed the free tickets to their delivery drivers.

The eligible matches are the '2025 Coupang Play Series' game between Team K League and Newcastle United, which will be held at 8:00 p.m. on this day at Suwon World Cup Stadium, and the match between Tottenham and Newcastle, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on August 3 at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Coupang Logistics emphasized that it was the first in the industry to introduce a backup driver system, creating conditions that allow delivery drivers to work five days or less per week. Drivers can even work four days a week, allowing them to rest for two to three days each week, while consumers can still receive deliveries seven days a week.

A CLS representative stated, "We are the first in the industry to operate a system where contracted delivery companies must secure backup driver personnel from the contract stage in order to be eligible for contracting," and added, "We support and encourage contracted delivery companies to participate in flexible vacation policies."
