Busan Port Authority is seeking graduate students in master's and doctoral programs to support research in the fields of shipping, port, and logistics.

Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sangkeun) announced on July 30 that it is currently recruiting participants for the "2025 BPA Jump-Up Campus" program, targeting master's and doctoral students nationwide, until August 10.

This program provides research funding and expert consulting to graduate students so they can conduct research on major issues related to Busan Port. Since its launch in 2019, it has supported 44 research projects at 9 universities in Korea through last year. This year, up to 7 projects will be selected through an open call.

The application period for research projects is from July 22 to August 10, and the announcement can be found in the notices section of the Busan Port Authority website. Interested applicants should prepare a research proposal and submit it to the designated office.

President Song Sangkeun stated, "Through the operation of the Jump-Up Campus, we will strive to develop policies in the port logistics sector, such as establishing a base for the Arctic Sea Route, and to strengthen the expertise of young researchers."
