The morning low temperatures will range from 22°C to 28°C, and the daytime highs will reach between 32°C and 38°C, making it extremely hot. The apparent temperature, which reflects humidity, is expected to soar to around 35°C in most regions.

A heat wave advisory has been issued for the entire country except for Hallasan on Jeju Island. The Korea Meteorological Administration predicts that the heat will persist for the time being. In its recently released one-month outlook, it was forecast that temperatures will remain above average throughout August.

In the afternoon of July 30, there may be showers of about 5 to 20 mm and 5 to 30 mm in northeastern Gyeonggi Province and the inland and mountainous areas of central and northern Gangwon Province. As the heat continues and humidity rises, the apparent temperature is expected to increase further.

Ozone levels will be high across the country except for Jeju Island. In Seoul, Incheon, and southern Gyeonggi Province, ozone concentrations are expected to reach 'very bad' levels, while in other regions, they are forecasted to reach 'bad' levels.

Due to the influence of Typhoon Komai, the 8th typhoon of the season, strong winds of 30 to 60 km/h and rough seas with wave heights of 1.5 to 4.0 meters are expected until July 31 in the waters off Jeju Island (excluding the northern and eastern areas) and the outer southern part of the South Sea. In the far southern waters of Jeju and the southern part of the southern Yellow Sea, these conditions are expected to persist for the time being.
