Business Agreement Signed with Daegu-Gyeongbuk Blood Center
Promoting Blood Donation Culture and Social Value through Mutual Cooperation
Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jung Myungseob) signed a business agreement with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross (Director Ji Jeongsik) on July 25 to promote the realization of social value through sharing and the spread of a blood donation culture.
Since 2016, Daegu Urban Development Corporation has been organizing group blood donations among its executives and employees to help stabilize the blood supply and spread a culture of sharing life. In particular, since 2021, when participation in blood donation sharply declined due to COVID-19, the corporation has further expanded its efforts and now holds regular blood donation drives once every quarter.
Employees related to the agreement are taking a commemorative photo after Daegu Urban Development Corporation and Daegu Gyeongbuk Blood Center signed a business agreement.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to contribute to the practice of humanitarianism and the realization of social value through blood donation, based on mutual respect and trust.
The main points of the agreement include: continuous blood donation campaigns for executives and employees; supporting the spread of nationwide blood donation campaigns and the establishment of a voluntary blood donation culture; and mutual cooperation on ESG programs to realize social value.
Meanwhile, Daegu Urban Development Corporation also participates in the "Good Workplace" campaign, in which employees regularly donate a portion of their salaries, and continues to carry out sharing activities to support vulnerable groups in the region.
Jung Myungseob, President of Daegu Urban Development Corporation, stated, "I sincerely thank all our executives and employees who practice the value of sharing for those in need," and added, "With this business agreement as an opportunity, we will actively participate in blood donation campaigns and do our best to spread a warm culture of sharing in the local community."
