With this achievement, the city has been honored with an award at the 'Social i-Award' for two consecutive years.

The 'Social i-Award' is the largest internet award ceremony in Korea for outstanding SNS-based content, with more than 4,000 general users and experts participating in the selection of winners.

This year, the city received above-average scores in all five categories?brand, content, marketing, service, and design?and was highly praised for its consistent operation of communication-oriented content.

The panel of judges commented, "Despite being public content, it communicates creatively with citizens without being bound by formalities," and "It stands out for its balance of entertainment sensibility and public messaging."

This year, the city completely revamped its YouTube channel, strengthening both citizen participation content and a regular upload system. As a result, accessibility and content diversity have increased, and the number of views, subscribers, and comment participation rates have all risen.

In particular, the flagship content 'Jeonboja Season 2' has drawn attention as an attempt to enhance public trust in administration, featuring civil servants who proactively address and resolve civil complaints. Starting in August, a new second 'Jeonboja' will be appointed and begin full-scale activities.

Lee Donghwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, stated, "This award is a valuable achievement made together with our citizens," and added, "We will continue to deliver differentiated digital communication unique to Goyang, with content that puts citizens at the center."

Meanwhile, Goyang Special City's YouTube channel delivers major policies and daily information in an easy and entertaining way, tailored to citizens' perspectives, every Wednesday at 5 p.m.
