Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of Coldplay, noticed this and sang a short improvised line, "Leo, my beautiful brother. You and your wife look wonderful." He continued, "Thank you for coming to our band's show today. The greatest sports player of all time." Messi responded with a big smile, waving and applauding. The audience welcomed him, chanting "Messi!" After the concert, Messi shared a photo on his social media with his wife and three sons taken at the concert venue. This post received about 6.8 million likes in 18 hours.

Meanwhile, the Kiss Cam at Coldplay concerts is considered a major event. During the show, the camera highlights couples in the audience, and the band sometimes sings to them on the spot, making it popular among fans. At a concert in Boston, Massachusetts on July 16, the Kiss Cam captured a middle-aged man and woman embracing and looking at the stage. When the couple saw themselves on the big screen, they quickly separated and hid their faces. The video of this moment spread rapidly on social media platforms like TikTok, and the two were identified as Andy Byron, CEO of the US IT company Astronomer, and Christine Cabot, the company's Chief People Officer. Within a few days, both left the company.
