The "Illegal Filming Citizen Watch Group," composed of members from the Yangpyeong County Women's Association Council (President Min Taekeun), will use illegal filming detection equipment to check for hidden cameras. Any suspicious devices or installations found on site will be immediately removed, and necessary actions will be taken in cooperation with the police. In addition, the group plans to conduct campaigns to raise awareness about the seriousness of illegal filming crimes and provide information on prevention methods, thereby working to improve awareness among both residents and tourists.
President Min Taekeun stated, "We will continue our campaigns and inspection activities so that Yangpyeong County can become a safe city without crime," and added, "I also urge residents to pay attention to their surroundings and to report any suspicious situations immediately."
Yangpyeong County Governor Jeon Jinseon said, "As illegal filming crimes have recently emerged as a social issue, proactive prevention activities are crucial," and emphasized, "We will do our utmost to create a public facility environment where both residents and tourists can feel safe."
