Among the trainees selected through a highly competitive process with a 10-to-1 acceptance rate, 29 participants completed the program. Through a total of 568 hours of practical, industry-focused curriculum, they systematically acquired skills in financial data analysis, Python and SQL programming, as well as the design of chatbot and AI-based services tailored to real-world industry needs.

During the project presentations, the metaverse-based chatbot stock investment simulation game 'Hero's Path' was selected as the best project. This service, designed in a game format, enables the MZ generation with limited investment experience to naturally understand stock structures and investment strategies. It received high praise for its immersive experience and technical implementation.

The first session's completion ceremony was held on July 25 at Kiwoom Securities' headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul. Trainee Cho Yunhyeok received the grand prize, while trainees An Jeongwoo and Han Minseo were awarded the excellence prizes. The evaluation covered not only project outcomes but also overall attendance, classroom attitude, collaboration skills, and growth potential.

Award recipients will receive an exemption from the document screening process when applying for positions at Kiwoom Securities, and the grand prize winner will be additionally awarded a scholarship of 1 million won.

The achievements of the Kiwoom Digital Academy will continue with the second session. On August 1, the launch ceremony for the second session will be held. A total of 37 participants have been selected for the second session. The curriculum will be identical to the first session and will run from August 1 to November 19.

A representative from Kiwoom Securities stated, "We will continue to strive to establish this program as a leading initiative for nurturing next-generation talent in the digital finance sector by providing practical, demand-driven education and project-based learning."
