Credit Union Holds Completion Ceremony for Credit Union Jeju Training Center Education Building

Including International Conference Room, Multipurpose Hall, and Lecture Rooms

The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on the 29th that it held a completion ceremony for the Credit Union Jeju Training Center Education Building in Aewol-eup, Jeju.

The Credit Union Jeju Training Center, which opened in March, has been operating as an educational facility for credit union executives, employees, and members (insurance contract holders) nationwide. The newly expanded education building received its completion approval on June 24.

The ceremony was attended by approximately 90 people, including Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, Son Seong-eun, CEO of the Credit and Insurance Business, Ko Mun-hwa, Chairman of the Construction Promotion Committee, members of the Construction Promotion Committee and the Establishment Promotion Committee, chairpersons of credit unions in the Jeju region, and representatives from the construction company.

During the event, plaques of appreciation were presented to the members of the Construction Promotion Committee, the Establishment Promotion Committee, and Cheongsol General Construction Co., Ltd., the construction company, for their contributions to the establishment of the Credit Union Jeju Training Center.

The Credit Union Jeju Training Center Education Building has a total area of 721 pyeong and consists of one basement floor and two above-ground floors. It provides an optimal educational environment equipped with an international conference room, a multipurpose hall, and lecture rooms.

Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, stated, "The completion of this education building marks a meaningful and historic moment as the second training center, long awaited by all credit union members, is now finished. I hope that the Credit Union Jeju Training Center Education Building will establish itself as a central hub for credit union education, spreading the value of cooperation as an open place of learning."
