Space Syntax Korea is a research-based venture established through Sejong University's technology startup support program. The company has been gaining attention by applying quantitative spatial analysis technology based on space syntax to various domestic projects.

At this exhibition, Space Syntax Korea will present its pedestrian and circulation analysis-based spatial activation solution utilizing space syntax under the slogan, "Maximizing Profitability and Safety Through Optimization of Circulation in Architectural and Urban Spaces."

This technology quantitatively analyzes user flow and provides strategies for spatial layout and circulation optimization for building development, remodeling, and enhancement of asset value. In particular, it enables increased dwell time and sales improvement in commercial facilities and mixed-use developments.

Kim Youngwook, CEO of Space Syntax Korea and professor in the Department of Architecture at Sejong University, stated, "Through our participation in Korea Build, we aim to demonstrate that spatial data-based analysis can deliver tangible value in a wide range of fields, including design, development, marketing, and pedestrian safety."

Meanwhile, Space Syntax Lab (www.spacesyntax.kr) and related entities recently carried out projects related to pedestrian safety, such as evacuation simulations and circulation planning for crowd disaster prevention, in 17 districts of Seoul.
