On July 23 and 24, around 140 Hyundai Glovis employees worked together in Jaeun 2-ri during the corn harvest season, picking and packaging corn while working up a sweat.

On this occasion, Hyundai Glovis directly purchased about 2,000 boxes of the harvested and packaged corn and sent them to the homes of all employees. This was done both to help increase the income of local farmers and to convey the significance of the 'One Company One Village' exchange program to employees.

Since forming a partnership with Jaeun 2-ri in April 2007 to promote exchanges between rural communities and corporations, Hyundai Glovis has been carrying out a variety of support activities. Every year during the busy farming season, the company visits local farms to provide hands-on assistance. It has also supported the improvement of the village community center by providing items such as TVs, PCs, and desks. In June, Hyundai Glovis specially invited residents of Jaeun 2-ri to its Seoul headquarters for a tour, including visits to the Lotte Tower Observatory and the aquarium, fostering mutual exchange.

A Hyundai Glovis representative stated, "We plan to continue building close exchange activities with our sister village."
