In the weekly women's golf rankings announced on the 28th (local time), she earned 4.69 points, moving up two spots from 10th place last week. She accumulated ranking points by finishing second at the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open (total prize money of 2 million dollars) on the LPGA Tour, which concluded the previous day at Dundonald Links (par 72) in Ayrshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. Kim Hyojoo aimed for her second win of the season and the eighth victory of her career, four months after her last win at the Ford Championship in March, but failed to achieve a come-from-behind victory.

Lottie Woad (England), the winner of the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open, made a remarkable leap from 62nd to 24th place, climbing 38 spots since last week. She became only the third player in women's golf history to win her professional debut, following Beverly Hanson in 1951 and Rose Zhang (both from the United States) in 2023.

Nelly Korda (United States), Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand), and Lydia Ko (New Zealand) maintained their positions at 1st to 3rd place. Among Korean players, Yoo Hae-ran is ranked 7th, Ko Jin-young 13th, Choi Hye-jin 21st, Yang Hee-young 31st, and Lee Ye-won 34th. Kim Se-young, who finished third at the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open, jumped from 50th to 35th place since last week.
