Until December 31... "Safety Baton" Relay
Special Safety Activities at Each Regional Site for Two Weeks
The "Safety Relay" campaign is operated by dividing Lotte Engineering & Construction's business divisions?housing, architecture, civil engineering, and plant?into regions across the country. Each site conducts special safety activities, after which a "safety baton" is passed on to the next site.
Starting with the housing site on July 21, the plant site participated on July 26, and the architecture site joined on July 28. The civil engineering site is scheduled to participate on August 4.

The site manager at each location that receives the "safety baton" holds a zero-accident declaration ceremony with the participation of all workers and carries out special safety activities for two weeks. Even after the individual activity period ends, each site will continue to closely monitor for blind spots in safety management and address major risk factors such as falls, drops, overturns, and collapses.
During the "intensive health management period" for heat waves, which lasts until September, measures to prevent heat-related illnesses will also be checked and implemented. These include providing cold water and cooling gear, ensuring break areas and rest times, and managing outdoor work. All executives of Lotte Engineering & Construction also participated in special inspections for heat-related illness prevention at each site from July 10 to July 15.
Lotte Engineering & Construction is focusing on strengthening safety capabilities company-wide to prevent accidents. Through this "Safety Relay" campaign, the company aims to maintain "zero serious accidents" for the remainder of the year and to continuously reduce general accidents, ultimately achieving zero accidents.
A representative from Lotte Engineering & Construction stated, "This campaign was planned to foster and spread a safety culture in which all executives, employees, and workers participate. We are determined to eradicate not only serious accidents but also general accidents, and to achieve zero accidents at all sites."
