[Photo] iM Life Union Holds Rally Against Violation of Collective Agreement and Labor Standards Act

Members of the iM Life Insurance branch of the Office and Financial Workers' Union held a general strike resolution rally in front of the iM Financial Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, on July 28, condemning the company's 'wage arrears' and 'violation of collective agreements'. The union stated, "According to the Supreme Court ruling in December 2024, regular bonuses must be included in ordinary wages. However, the company unilaterally reduced the fixed overtime hours (OT) from the previous 22 to 43 hours to a uniform 11 hours, and implemented an 'overtime work operation standard' that pays for extra hours based on actual working hours."
