In the men's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 27th (local time), he earned 2.50 points and jumped 58 spots from 97th last week. He accumulated these points by securing a come-from-behind victory at the PGA Tour 3M Open (total prize money of $8.4 million) held at TPC Twin Cities (par 71) in Blaine, Minnesota, USA, on this day. This marks his second career victory, coming two years after his first win at the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, and Russell Henley (all USA) maintained their positions in the top five. Among Korean players, Im Sungjae is ranked 28th, An Byeonghun is 55th, Kim Joo-hyung is 64th, and Kim Siwoo is 67th. Joaquin Niemann (Chile), who secured his fifth win of the year at LIV Golf UK, dropped from 95th to 98th. No matter how well a player performs in LIV Golf, they do not receive world ranking points.
