The main detailed strategies to achieve these goals include corporate loan rebalancing for strategic asset allocation, improving profitability by increasing core deposits, maintaining a constant asset soundness management system, strengthening the competitiveness of GwangjuWaBank, and expanding specialized channels for foreigners and wealth management (WM).

At the meeting, Gwangju Bank CEO Ko Byungil stated, "Due to the deterioration of the global trade environment and sluggish domestic demand, our economy is facing the risk of growth in the zero percent range. In addition, the difficulties of the real economy are deepening day by day, as shown by the increase in delinquencies and closures among self-employed individuals." He emphasized, "In this situation, the financial sector must prepare more active countermeasures." By strengthening our business foundation based on strategic asset management and qualitative growth, we need to prepare for Gwangju Bank to take another leap forward."
