Enhancing Financial Convenience for Senior Customers
Accelerating the Expansion of Non-face-to-face Services
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) announced on July 28 that it has launched a "National Pension and Basic Pension Benefit Account Change Service" through its mobile banking app to enhance financial convenience for senior customers.
BNK Busan Bank Implements 'National and Basic Pension Benefit Account Change Service' via Mobile App.
This service is available to customers who wish to receive their National Pension or Basic Pension through a Busan Bank account instead of another financial institution. Customers who wish to use the service can easily apply via the "National/Basic Pension Account Change" menu within the Busan Bank mobile banking app.
Previously, changing the pension benefit account required complicated procedures, such as accessing the relevant institution's website, contacting call centers, or visiting in person. With the launch of this service, customers can now change their pension benefit account more quickly and conveniently.
In particular, customers only need to complete an identity verification process in the app menu. The account change request is then automatically submitted to the National Pension Service and related institutions without the need to visit any institution or submit documents, allowing customers to use the service conveniently in a non-face-to-face manner, regardless of time or location.
Customers who find it difficult to use the mobile app can also visit a nearby Busan Bank branch for assistance from staff. Detailed information about the service can be found through the Busan Bank mobile banking app.
Shin Sik, Head of Retail Customer Group at Busan Bank, said, "This service was designed to make financial life easier and more convenient for senior customers," adding, "We will continue to expand customized financial services for senior customers in the future."
