Daejeon World Vision Children's Choir Participates...
Global Expansion with Multilingual Release in Six Official UN Languages
Nonsan City in Chungnam announced on July 28 that it has released a remake of the children's rights promotional song "We Are All Precious" to raise awareness of the value of children's dignity and rights.
This remake features the Daejeon World Vision Children's Choir, which won the grand prize at the "2024 1st Nonsan City Children's Rights Song National Choir Competition" held in June, further enhancing the quality of the project.
This choir, established in 2022, is a leading children's choir that has moved audiences with songs dedicated to children in crisis both domestically and internationally.
"We Are All Precious" is a children's rights song first produced by Nonsan City in 2017?the first of its kind in Korea?with the Nonsan Parangsae Children's Choir participating in the original recording.
This remake goes beyond a simple re-recording, serving as the starting point for a global project supporting children's rights worldwide.
Beginning with the release of this Korean version, the city plans to sequentially release versions in the six official UN languages (English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Arabic) as well as Japanese.
Mayor Baek Seonghyeon stated, "I hope that 'We Are All Precious,' which began in Nonsan, will contribute to raising awareness of the value and dignity of children around the world. We will continue to foster sustainable systems and culture so that children can recognize their own worth and grow into global talents with character."
