Ko Kyungae of Gwangju Seo-gu Council Receives Plaque of Appreciation from Hwajeong 3-dong Residents' Autonomy Council

Recognized for Resident-Centered Legislative Activities

Gwangju Seo-gu Council member Ko Kyungae recently received a plaque of appreciation from the Hwajeong 3-dong Residents' Autonomy Council.

This plaque was awarded in recognition of Ko Kyungae's legislative activities, which actively reflected the opinions of residents, addressed local issues, and contributed to the revitalization of resident self-governance.

Since the opening of the 9th Seo-gu Council, Ko has served as the chairperson for the first half of the term, focusing on residents and carrying out legislative activities aimed at enhancing their happiness.

Ko stated, "A region can only develop if resident self-governance takes root properly," and added, "I will continue to listen closely to voices on the ground and do my best to realize governance where residents are the true owners."

Meanwhile, Ko plans to work closely with the Residents' Autonomy Council to actively develop policies that address local issues and improve the quality of life for residents.
