Baek Jonghan, a member of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, recently received a plaque of appreciation from the Hwajeong 3-dong Residents' Association.
A representative of the Residents' Association stated, "Councilor Baek Jonghan has worked to improve the quality of life and environment for residents by supporting the maintenance and repair of facilities, providing sound systems, and supplying equipment for the development of the Hwajeong 3-dong Residents' Association." The representative added, "We presented this plaque of appreciation in recognition of his warm leadership and dedicated contributions, as he has actively created opportunities for communication with residents and listened attentively to even the smallest voices in the community."
Baek stated, "I believe that striving to enhance the welfare of district residents is a fundamental responsibility of a local council member," and added, "I will continue to work even harder to contribute to the development of the Residents' Association and the improvement of residents' quality of life."
