Korea Federation of SMEs Publishes
"2025 Favorite Restaurants of SME CEOs"
as Part of Livelihood Economy Recovery Campaign
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on July 28 that it has published the book "2025 Favorite Restaurants of SME CEOs," which compiles local restaurants recommended by CEOs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country.
This publication was planned as part of the "Livelihood Economy Recovery Campaign," a joint initiative by the Korea Federation of SMEs and the wider SME community. More than 200 SME association leaders and CEOs, including regional chairpersons of the Federation, personally recommended their favorite restaurants.
The book features information on over 80 travel destinations recommended by local governments nationwide, as well as the names, contact details, recommenders, and brief reviews of 510 hidden restaurants beloved in each region.
The "Livelihood Economy Recovery Campaign" was launched in July 2025 with the slogan "Take your vacation domestically! Increase local spending!" to help restore economic sentiment and boost domestic demand. To stimulate the domestic economy, the Korea Federation of SMEs is carrying out several initiatives: ▲ a traditional market shopping campaign, ▲ providing information on local restaurants, ▲ a campaign to encourage vacations within Korea, and ▲ a promotional campaign to encourage enrollment in the Yellow Umbrella mutual aid program.
Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, "Especially in times when the domestic market is struggling, enjoying domestic travel and visiting local restaurants can provide significant support to small business owners," adding, "The Korea Federation of SMEs will continue to work hard for the recovery of the livelihood economy."
