Prior to the first round of the program, from July 10 to July 12, Gyeonggi Province provided pre-departure training for participants, including emergency response and safety education, as well as overseas business etiquette.
The program includes a variety of activities such as local language training, mentoring, job-specific education, local marketing practice for Korean companies, and participation in overseas exhibitions in each region.
Through customized programs tailored to the characteristics of each region, participants will gain practical experience necessary for global employment and entrepreneurship, and will have the opportunity to experience the corporate culture of overseas companies. Notably, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Liberation, participants will visit sites of anti-Japanese resistance, such as the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea historic site in Chongqing, China, providing an opportunity to deepen their sense of history.
Park Kyungseo, Director of International Trade at Gyeonggi Province, said, "I hope this first round of overseas experience will provide young people with valuable opportunities to encounter diverse possibilities and prepare for their futures. We will continue to actively support many young people so they can grow into global talents."
